a month agoFavorite burger in Texas? Quite possibly. I was here years ago and still remember how absurdly life-affirming it was. The bun was buttery, toasty, and crisp in ways a bun should and shouldn’t be. Still heavanly regardless. The patty was hot and juicy, to the extent that I spilled a concerning amount of it on my pants in the car. I would drive hundreds of miles just to have that burger again — and probably speed a little.

a month agoVery clean and friendly place. The food was great. The burgers were seasoned very well and tasted homemade. I loved my southwest burger. The guac was fresh and the patties on the burgers were the perfect size (thick). The buns weren’t soggy!! I would recommend 10x

a month agoHave been going here for a long time. Haven’t been to the new location. Got two MadMac’s and a southwest. They look absolutely amazing and taste as good as they look. If you don’t know about this place, you’re definitely sleeping on it. One of the few and true Mom and pop Burger joint in San Antonio.

a month agoFirst time customer 5-5-2026 the mad mack burger order of onion rings 18$ and some change very well worth it the patties very tasty the taste of the griddle is fantastic the home made onion ring the crispy bacon the grilled cheese as the buns all fantastic must try going to take a nap go for dinner LOL well done guys keep up the good work..

2 months agoOne of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Seasoning is perfection, veggies are fresh, large serving size for a single! Onion rings were crunchy yet flaky and delicate, and amazing! The fries were also great and seasoned to perfection. Window service was excellent and eating on the covered patio was great. 10/10 drove 30 minutes to eat here and will be back!

9 months ago2 bites in and and you have a new regular customer. Just moved into the neighborhood and have passed this spot several times now. Decided to visit for a late lunch and glad I did. American burger was so fresh and flavorful. The patty had a perfect crust on it but still juicy on the inside. The fries are classic cut burger stand fries seasoned with seasoned salt. Perfection . Burger, fries and drink for $9.99. Go support this small business!

10 months ago1st off the burgers are Big 😮 we ordered 4 burgers a order of onion rings and family order of fries and the total was $60 yea pricey but again the burgers and Big. The fries were salted perfectly and the onion rings are delicious. Def not a place 2 go mayb everyday but a good place 2 eat tho. Def will try again... Our Burgers were the Swiss n Mushroom, Hickory, the Mad Mack and a regular cheese burger. The Swiss was delicious alot of mushrooms and good grilled onions, the hickory was amazing delicious barbque sauce. The original was a perfect tasting burger the Mad Mack was alot of bread since we took it 2 go the grilled cheese was already cold so made it harder 2 eat but was still a good burger. 🙂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
